Technically, I didn't move the "site" itself - but I was having trouble keeping up with everything so I've started posting my 365 images at Xanga, where I have a lot more tools going on (that I actually use). I am much more involved in the community there, so that's where I've been spending most of my time.
If you'd like to continue to follow my 365 project, feel free to come visit at Christy Grimes @Xanga.
For those blogs that I follow via blogger, I've set up RSS in Outlook to automatically update me. =) It's not that I'll never visit blogger or update here - it's just that I know I won't be updating my own blogger blog frequently but you can read me somewhere else and I wanted to share that.
Love to all!

123/365: Yum.
Need I say more? If you've had this stuff, I don't. If you haven't - well, YUM. LOL Not so much on bread tho - but with pretzels, or a spoonful with a banana to dip in it...YUM. LOL

122/365: There's a first time for everything...
...that's what I've been told (and experienced). This is a picture of Jesse's first time sitting in his high chair. He was not impressed. He'd rather have been in my lap I guess - so he could try to put his hands in my food, no doubt. I don't think he's ready for baby food yet - not totally, but he's beginning to show signs. =) Exciting times. Next week he'll be in high school.

121/365: Chloe Naps
Chloe naps. That's what Chloe always does. She is never NOT napping. OK, except when she is eating. Or going outside to potty. Or barking at something that isn't there. Otherwise, she is napping. Always. Lucky dog.... LOL

120/365: Nap with Bear
One of Jesse's favorite things is this plastic bear that hangs from his play mat. Sometimes he falls asleep holding on to it, but his arm had fallen down by the time I took this picture. LOL

119/365: Caramel Macchiato in the Afternoon
And, out of a bottle, as well. LOL This is not the original Starbucks' creation - this is coffee I made and to it I added some of the new International Delights creamer-like flavorings; obviously, I used Caramel Macchiato. I didn't really think I would like it but the store I went to had only two flavors - this and french vanilla (and Lord knows I'm sick of vanilla anything at this point...). I needed an afternoon pick-me-up. The hour long nap I managed to squeeze in seemed to only make me feel worse, while usually opposite is the case.
AnyWHO. I was so lazy yesterday - so TIRED, and this is the only picture I took (didn't even upload until the next day!) so... Maybe today I will get a better one? Or not - it is miserable and gloomy and POURING outside - AGAIN. LOL
Happy Friday...
Oh yes - I took this photo with my cell phone, and I added a texture overlay to this in PS to suit the mood I was in and knocked the opacity down in order to bring out the coffee a bit.

118/365: The Sewing Room
This is a shot of one side of my Mom's sewing room. I told you guys it was awesome - she's got all kinds of fun stuff in there. What's really stupid is I have no idea (or interest) in sewing or quilting or whatever else she does. My crafty limit is scrapbooking and photography, maybe a little web design or font work. LOL My mom's like the most awesome seamstress within miles of...anywhere. LOL
This actually was my bedroom. Haha! LOL See what happens when you move out? They just move right on without you. I hope I can do that when Jesse leaves home. I have at least 18 years to not worry about that, though. Gosh - that's got to be hard even though it's happy...

117/365: Drowning
Jeremy actually took this picture, but whatever. LOL Hubs doesn't care - it was a screw-up, anyway. It suits me today, though. This is how I've felt all morning whilst dealing with financial issues.
This was one of the worst days ever in the sense of finances and one of our lowest points. Somehow we went to bed smiling and not worried - maybe because of the comfort of friends, the fact that we did get our taxes filed by the end of the day, or maybe just because of each other. That was nice, considering I felt like I was struggling to hold my head above water all day long - and even thought I had drowned a couple of times.

115/365: Baby Bubbles
Jesse likes to blow spit bubbles now. Wow - that's probably gross to most of you guys... Wait until I post a picture of my foot wound (I probably won't)!
I guess if he was an adult it would be different. LOL

114/365: Rubber
Random rubber bands in my Mom's sewing room. I should upload a picture of that soon. Crazy fun place!

113/365: Frank's Buttons
Frank was a friend of my parents. My Mom used to sew for him - she would make him the hideously eccentric button-up shirts. That's not a judgment - just who he was. He was a really fun character. He passed away this week.

112/365: Creepy
...that's what I think of this old baby shoe. *shudder*
I think it was my Mom's or something...really, I have no idea, I just thought it would make a cool, creepy picture.

110/365: Attack of the Crows
This is my neighbor's yard - by the time I got the camera and got outside, the crows were migrating away.
They were so loud that it sounded like a steam boat or something (their cawing and flapping together). There had to be HUNDREDS, if not thousands, of them all together, but what you see (if you can, indeed, see in this picture at this size) is just the tail end of the flock flying away. They don't stay long - literally seconds. This is the third bunch in as many days.

109/365: Butt Bath
Love it - it SMELLS SO GOOD! Jeremy and Jesse both needed soap so when we went for groceries yesterday we got them some. I hope it gets them really clean! Jeremy's (not pictured) cost us 6 bucks and this one for Jesse was all of 8, but hey - it was worth it just for the bottle! LOL I DO love the way this smells and it really does wonders for his dry skin. =)
The Boudreaux's butt cream (diaper rash ointment) is awesome, too. We had to use it ONCE and he's never had another rash since. Yay!

108/365: Sunday Flood
We've had a bit of rainy weather today. OK - a BIT is an understatement. This was a couple of hours ago - at the time that I am posting this, my neighbors driveway is completely under water because their pond has flooded way up into the yard. The horses are splashing and going insane. It's craziness.
I hope the highways aren't too bad - we are supposed to venture out to my parents' house this afternoon to make copies of some things with my mom's copy machine and, of course, let them visit with Jesse...

107/365: Hard Day's Work
Everyone was tired after a long Saturday...Jeremy had to work, the dogs worked very hard playing with their toys, and Jesse worked very hard eating, napping, and growing. I worked very hard doing laundry and taking care of Jesse, and would have been laid out with the rest of the clan, but somebody had to take the picture. =)

106/365: Beautiful Blues
I think I actually took this yesterday morning or the morning before, but when I was downloading the shots from my camera (including what was to be today's picture) I saw this and HAD TO SHARE IT!
LOL Proud Mama syndrome is in full force today. Sorry... =)
I hope his eyes don't change colors as he gets older (unless they get bluer!) - he's only 12 weeks old (as of yesterday). I think they are the most beautiful blue I've ever seen in a person's eyes - I hope he takes after me and keeps them (I've got blue eyes and his Dad has green).
OK now I realize that it is hard to see the color in his eyes due to the size of the picture here. Oh well - it's there. LOL

105/365: Sunbathing
Took this with my cell phone this morning - Scrappy was sunbathing on the couch while I fed Jesse. She LOVES laying in the sun but she'd rather do it from INSIDE the house. LOL Thought it was pretty neat the way the rays of the sun were being filtered by the windows.
I just LOVE my Scrappy!

104/365: Sad Fairy
I think she looks sad - probably because it's dreary out, and cold; AND, her bed (flower bed) is CRAP. I MUST clean up my beds in spring and make them beautiful again. Funny how pregnancy forces you to fall behind on things that you used to find incredibly important.

103/365: Basket o Rocks
This is a basket of rocks that has been sitting on the roof of the well pump that is built on to our house. The well has been filled in; I wish it wasn't because well water would be free and awesome.
Anyway - we collected these from the woods and places around our house. We were going to use them for decoration or something but we never got around to it after I got pregnant. Our yard was totally neglected (aside from being mowed) last year. This year I am going to make it pretty again (time permitting!).

102/365: Skull
This is our skull. We found it whilst hiking at the wildlife reserve near our house. Jeremy says it's a deer skull but geez - it seems really small to me, when you compare it to the deer head he got mounted when he was a teenager... Whatever - it's still wicked cool to have a skull of anything that you just happened upon. LOL

101/365: Fishy
This fishy lives in our laundry room. I forget exactly where he came from - we had one that came from somewhere, and at some point along came a friend for him (which was this fishy)... Who knows...

99/365: Petzels
Didn't do any real shooting today - lazy day, mostly spent lounging with Jesse while Jer was at work. I did manage to have my cell phone handy when I took the dogs outside so I shot their treat bucket - the handy dandy Petzels! They loved the petzels, but they were so expensive and we got them from a pet store in the city (about an hour from here) so now we've just gone back to getting their (more healthy and better for their tummies) milkbones when we grocery shop at the local store. LOL WE love the T-bucket (treat bucket), tho!!

98/365: Bedroom Window through ET Eyes
Just playing with the new extension tubes - first picture with any light in it (playing with getting the aperture to work)... Kind of a cool bokehish-ness I think...
