84/365: Implements of Comfort
Happy new year's ever - we're all sick. It's worst on baby Jesse - so, we've set up some implements of comfort for him in the living room. There's a humidifier my parents got for him, the ever handy snot sucker, and, of course, something to distract him with that is dual purpose - soft AND distracting. Of course, on the other side of this there is a pile of diapers and a container of wipes, as well as kleenexes.

83/365: Dirty Birdie
LOL Title is sort of pun-ish - "dirty birdie" is actually a texture mask I used when I was playing with this picture. Kind of goofy, I know...
This was a present that was in our Christmas goodie bag from JR. We gave it to Jesse - I think it was intended for all of us. Kind of reminiscent of all the work they did to prepare for Jesse's arrival... LOL

80/365: Guardian
Happy birthday to me! I can't believe I'm 31 already. Boo.
This is a cute picture of Chloe that I took with my phone while I was feeding Jesse. The rug is just in front of his crib - she sits there a lot (or lays) looking outside and protecting him. I love her...but she is getting on in age and has trouble with her hips and getting around at this point. Her heart is still young, though...

77-365 - A Christmas Story

76/365: Thank Goodness...
...yep! Thank goodness for this mobile! The only thing I don't like about it is having to wind it so often. That annoys me for TWO reasons: the first is just the inconvenience, the second is that if Jesse IS almost asleep and you have to rewind it, the winding is so loud and it wakes him back up. LOL But, he LOVES this and it's often the only solution when he's fussy and nothing else works to calm him down.
This is going to be a savior for us when we battle crying baby over the holidays - I know he's going to be so tired and fussy after all of our visiting in the coming days!

75/365: Playmat
Another gift from Beck Beck - this is just what we asked for! I can't believe how colorful it is... It's the fisher price precious planet (I think) playmat. We wanted it for Jesse to do tummy time on - that was our MAIN purpose (because of random dog hair in the house), but it's also turned into a changing mat. ROFLMAO

73/365: Tigger Rattle
...one of the first toys we bought for Jesse. We got this when I was about 6 months pregnant. We found it randomly at Wal-Mart. For Christmas, we got him the other two that go with it - Eeyore and Pooh. I don't think there is a Piglet but I could be wrong. It'd be neat to get that for him at some point if they make one - he really likes these stuffed animals because they have rattles in them and the blanket is really textured - he especially likes them when Daddy shakes them above him during a diaper change or when I'm dressing him after a bath.

72/365: Radiator
This is actually an electric heater that operates by heating some sort of oil and dispersing it in this radiator type thing. My Dad gave it to us. Thank goodness for it - sometimes the weather gets so cold that our heat pump just can't...well, heat. LOL I know that sounds weird and crazy but it's true.

71/365: Santa Baby
Such a cute outfit Jesse got from his grandmother! It was almost too little, though you almost can't tell it from the photo. I did have to unbutton the top button, and the pants were pretty tight. LOL =)
Merry Christmas (a little early!)!!

70/365: Jesse with his Godfather
...and our best friend, JR. A family couldn't ask for a better friend. In fact, he IS family. Jesse is so blessed to have a spiritual teacher and friend like JR in his life, as are we all...
JR, I hope it's OK that I posted this - it's one of my all time favorite "portraits" I've ever taken! =)

79/365: Back to Childhood
Funny how being around babies takes one back to the carefree feeling of childhood - even a big guy like my Daddy turns to complete mush and rolls around on the floor when he'd otherwise be unable to do so. LOL So sweet.
69/365: Scrappy Nose
It's a Scrappy nose!
I love my Scrappy - if only I had the space and the time to tell you the story of when she found her way home after a month of being lost... One of the most wonderful moments of my life was her jumping into my arms when we randomly found her right up the road from home (she got lost in another town about 10 miles away).

66/365: My Christmas present in the making...
Taken May 25, 2009 - almost 14 weeks pregnant. At this point, we knew we were pretty safe when it came to m/c possibilities (we'd had some in the past) and we started to breathe a little easier and get really excited at this point. When I saw this picture, even way back then, my first thought was, "He'll be here at Christmas - he's my Christmas present in the making." I got to watch my present grow for the whole year!

63/365: AU
No one in my family is really a big fan of Auburn, but my Dad is die hard Alabama - so we put these AU ornaments on the tree just to piss him off. It worked. ROFL

55/365: The Last Day
First of all, sorry for spamming the site with so many photos at one time - but I had to catch up! It was driving me crazy to have taken photos but not having uploaded them!
I know I won't feel like doing a picture tomorrow - blah! I was already so behind from being in the hospital that I decided to make sure I was ahead when I was finished tonight. LOL Some of the last few pictures I uploaded were actually taken by Eskimoblueboy (JR) with his cell phone - he was babysitting for us while we were back at the hospital. That's how pathetic that turned out - 3 days I didn't have my own shots, but wanted to document Jesse! LOL
This is a picture Jeremy took the day before we went into the hospital to have Jesse. This was October 27, but he ended up staying in until October 29 (things didn't move as quickly as they thought they would when we got to the hospital!). Technically, it's the next to the last day, but it's the last shot of my pregnant belly/body... I actually LOVE this picture now...
