Jesse likes to blow spit bubbles now. Wow - that's probably gross to most of you guys... Wait until I post a picture of my foot wound (I probably won't)!I guess if he was an adult it would be different. LOL

Random rubber bands in my Mom's sewing room. I should upload a picture of that soon. Crazy fun place!
Frank was a friend of my parents. My Mom used to sew for him - she would make him the hideously eccentric button-up shirts. That's not a judgment - just who he was. He was a really fun character. He passed away this week.
...that's what I think of this old baby shoe. *shudder*
This is my neighbor's yard - by the time I got the camera and got outside, the crows were migrating away.
Love it - it SMELLS SO GOOD! Jeremy and Jesse both needed soap so when we went for groceries yesterday we got them some. I hope it gets them really clean! Jeremy's (not pictured) cost us 6 bucks and this one for Jesse was all of 8, but hey - it was worth it just for the bottle! LOL I DO love the way this smells and it really does wonders for his dry skin. =)
We've had a bit of rainy weather today. OK - a BIT is an understatement. This was a couple of hours ago - at the time that I am posting this, my neighbors driveway is completely under water because their pond has flooded way up into the yard. The horses are splashing and going insane. It's craziness.
Everyone was tired after a long Saturday...Jeremy had to work, the dogs worked very hard playing with their toys, and Jesse worked very hard eating, napping, and growing. I worked very hard doing laundry and taking care of Jesse, and would have been laid out with the rest of the clan, but somebody had to take the picture. =)
I think I actually took this yesterday morning or the morning before, but when I was downloading the shots from my camera (including what was to be today's picture) I saw this and HAD TO SHARE IT!
Took this with my cell phone this morning - Scrappy was sunbathing on the couch while I fed Jesse. She LOVES laying in the sun but she'd rather do it from INSIDE the house. LOL Thought it was pretty neat the way the rays of the sun were being filtered by the windows.
I think she looks sad - probably because it's dreary out, and cold; AND, her bed (flower bed) is CRAP. I MUST clean up my beds in spring and make them beautiful again. Funny how pregnancy forces you to fall behind on things that you used to find incredibly important.
This is a basket of rocks that has been sitting on the roof of the well pump that is built on to our house. The well has been filled in; I wish it wasn't because well water would be free and awesome.
This is our skull. We found it whilst hiking at the wildlife reserve near our house. Jeremy says it's a deer skull but geez - it seems really small to me, when you compare it to the deer head he got mounted when he was a teenager... Whatever - it's still wicked cool to have a skull of anything that you just happened upon. LOL
This fishy lives in our laundry room. I forget exactly where he came from - we had one that came from somewhere, and at some point along came a friend for him (which was this fishy)... Who knows...
Didn't do any real shooting today - lazy day, mostly spent lounging with Jesse while Jer was at work. I did manage to have my cell phone handy when I took the dogs outside so I shot their treat bucket - the handy dandy Petzels! They loved the petzels, but they were so expensive and we got them from a pet store in the city (about an hour from here) so now we've just gone back to getting their (more healthy and better for their tummies) milkbones when we grocery shop at the local store. LOL WE love the T-bucket (treat bucket), tho!!
Just playing with the new extension tubes - first picture with any light in it (playing with getting the aperture to work)... Kind of a cool bokehish-ness I think...
LOL@my title...
I decided to be adventurous this morning and try to get a picture (macro, of course) of the frosty spikes on the tailgate of the truck. I haven't seen them stand up like this - even THEY must have been crazy freezing! LOL
This is a macro shot (using stacked macro filters) of frost on the tail light of the truck. Every morning has been an adventure in frost for the past several days - I'm always excited to take the dogs out and see what designs were left for me during the night.
LOL The toothcicle is melting, and while I got a couple of pretty shots of it I really liked this one that focuses more on one of the little icicles and has the sparkle in it. I think it's so pretty! The sun being out and reflecting in it is so strange...I don't know why but it is... LOL
LOL Icicle hanging from our house - looks like a tooth when you get close up on it... ROFL
