...that's what I've been told (and experienced). This is a picture of Jesse's first time sitting in his high chair. He was not impressed. He'd rather have been in my lap I guess - so he could try to put his hands in my food, no doubt. I don't think he's ready for baby food yet - not totally, but he's beginning to show signs. =) Exciting times. Next week he'll be in high school.
One of Jesse's favorite things is this plastic bear that hangs from his play mat. Sometimes he falls asleep holding on to it, but his arm had fallen down by the time I took this picture. LOL
I think I actually took this yesterday morning or the morning before, but when I was downloading the shots from my camera (including what was to be today's picture) I saw this and HAD TO SHARE IT!
Tummy time on the boppy. I LOVE this thing. He likes it OK but he'd rather be naked and laying in his crib...just like a man... ROFLMAO
...gosh - it was AWFUL. It started to get really bad at around 2PM. He was screaming and crying in pain. It only got worse. By around 6PM I thought he was dying. By 7PM he had finally calmed down enough that I could handle the crying (it wasn't as severe and he was gasping and shrieking). By 8PM he finally went to sleep enough that I could get some rest, so I put him in the bed with me and napped. He woke randomly, whining and whimpering and grimacing and scrunching up his whole body...but hasn't gone back to screaming (it's now 2AM and he's in the pack n' play - whether he's asleep I don't know, he wasn't earlier)...
Such a cute outfit Jesse got from his grandmother! It was almost too little, though you almost can't tell it from the photo. I did have to unbutton the top button, and the pants were pretty tight. LOL =)
Funny how being around babies takes one back to the carefree feeling of childhood - even a big guy like my Daddy turns to complete mush and rolls around on the floor when he'd otherwise be unable to do so. LOL So sweet.
This is what I live for. I am so happy! Jeremy, Jesse, Scrappy and Chloe...my little family.
He knew I was on my way home - I just KNOW that's why he's so alert here! LOL :-) Sweet boy!
Glad he was getting a good rest while I was waiting for someone with a brain to walk into my hospital room. LOL J/K

He's such a pretty baby - maybe it's because I am his Mom, but I really believe it. LOL
